Mike Evershed took these two photographs of M79 using remote controlled telescopes operated by iTelescope.net. The one on the left was taken using a 28 inch telescope in Australia as described in this article, and the one below was taken using the 12 inch F9 telescope at Siding Springs. Both images were taken using the automatic settings for exposure etc.
