On 13th October Mars reached opposition and was just 52,069,570km from Earth, its closest until 2035, and was the brightest star-like object in the night sky. A few of our members took the opportunity to have a go at imaging Mars during the days before and after opposition. Unfortunately we had a lot of winds and turbulence over that period so the results were rather mixed.
